a new tool to characterize simultaneously the morphology and chemistry of complex materials

Prof. Dr. Rudolf Kessler
Professor Emeritus of Reutlingen University
Kessler ProData GmbH
profile

Prof. Dr. Rudolf W. Kessler was a Professor of Chemistry at Reutlingen  University, Germany, with a focus on Process Analysis & Technology (PA&T). After his studies in Chemistry and a PhD in Physical Chemistry he worked for some years with Mercedes Benz. His main expertise is process analysis by optical and spectroscopic methods in combination with multivariate data analysis. He was a board member of the process analysis group of the German Chemical Society GDCh and of Dechema for a long time. He was suggested in 2009 for the  “Zukunftspreis” of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany and was the recipient of an award for his excellence in technology transfer in 2014. Since 2018 he is CEO of Kessler ProData GmbH.
